It so happens that outside of the time I spend trying to help solve the current global financial crisis, I spend a great deal of my time searching for a certain amount of “enlightenment.” As it so happens, recently (in the past day or two) I think I crossed a hurdle. And in so doing, it made me curious to look up the definitions of a few “words” that I have been giving consideration. Now I would like to share with you my findings:
Globalnomics is a fully integrated philosophical and scientific discipline that is based upon global rather than nationalistic perspectives. Whereas, the foundation of Globalnomics is based upon a clearly defined, commonly accepted, core set of world principals, the building blocks that shape the discipline come from the latest concepts and theories from the science of economics.
Drawing conceptually from Franklin Merrell-Wolff’s Experience and Philosophy and somewhat from Wilber’s wave theory of consciousness, I have developed my own simplified view and structure for the different levels of consciousness that we as human beings experience. During the consideration that resulted in the formulation of my Pyramid of Virtues, I reviewed the thoughts and ideas of several philosophers and spiritual leaders before me. As part of that process I came across several different definitions (or explanations) offered for the various items that form my Pyramid. Now, I humbly submit my own definition (or explanation) for the virtues of my Pyramid, beginning with Love and ending appropriately with Poverty of Spirit. (more…)
Since posting my most recent blog, Exponential Reality, I have been making decisions as to how to proceed forward with this portion of my website. As part of that decision process, I have been going through a mixed conglomeration of notes regarding ideas for consideration for future writings (i.e., aphorisms, poems, short stories, novel scenes, etc.). This is a very short 4-line poem or sutra which I have come to call The Primal Force. Gravity has played an important role in my life, and so this is my short little tribute to it and to Love. I find it interesting how a Physical Force such as Gravity has similar traits as the Metaphysical Force of Love. I think it could make one curious. (more…)

On one’s way to enlightenment (or Essence of Mind) there is no better warning for the aspirant than the one that says “You’re Thinking Too Much.” In other words, the Essence of Mind (or original enlightenment) is free from Thoughts. The Essence of Mind is Eternal, non-changing, and thus must be empty of changing thoughts.
It is important to understand that Knowledge is different from Wisdom, and Knowledge derived from Thoughts does not lead to Enlightenment. In other words, words are words, thoughts are thoughts, and neither lead to True Wisdom or Enlightenment. (more…)
